Musica para Todos.

On 3rd November the beautiful Old Town of Jávea will sparkle once again with a spectacular festival of music. Following the success of the Night at the Opera in Valencia and the Jávea Derby, Todos Juntos Jávea will host this special day in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento, the Conservatorio de Música and many of the restaurants.

The event will begin with a concert in the delightful old church of St. Bartholomé. The splendid orchestra of the Conservatorio will play a selection of music from both their string and brass sections. The concert starts at 12.30 pm and will last for an hour. The price per ticket for this concert is 10€ all of which will go to Todos Juntos Jávea. Tickets can be purchased from Humpty Dumpty or the Tourist Offices or through the Todos Juntos website www.todos-juntos-javea.com

The day continues at 16.30, absolutely free, with music filling the Calle Mayor. There will be performances from the Cuarteto Innova, four musicians playing flute and strings who will entertain everyone with music from the films. Afterwards inspiring choral sounds from the magnificent Ars Nova Jávea choir as they perform from their wide repertoire of classical music. The students and teachers of the Conservatorio will play a selection of music genres in different venues, and the director of the Conservatorio himself, saxophonist Carmelo Fresneda, will delight everyone with his famous Sax Express Project across jazz, blues, Latin and rock.

Two stands with all the information about Todos Juntos Jávea will be in the quaint Casco Antiguo, both proudly decorated with drawings made by the children of the Jávea Art School.

Many of the restaurants and bars in the town are also taking part in this special event. Tickets can be purchased from the Todos Juntos stands at a cost of 1.25€ which will buy a drink or a tapa. 25 cents of every ticket sold will be given to Todos Juntos Jávea.

As well as music and food, an additional delight in the Casa de Cultura and the Museum, a rare chance to see some films about Jávea, a celebration of this lovely ancient town, of its history and culture.

The festival will close at midnight to the eclectic sounds of La Romantica del Saladar, a band well known for its special interpretation of Spanish music.

Founded in 2011,Todos Juntos Jávea is an organisation which works tirelessly for the people of Jávea, especially for its youngsters, to help and support them in these difficult times.
