The Arenal Beach the Epicentre of Latest Trends in Dance Music
Local businesses take part in Summaland, the first macrofestival celebrated in Javea
Javea. 26 July 2011. This weekend Javea takes a plunge into the world of Dance Music with the Summaland Festival, showcasing the hottest acts in dance and electronic music. Everything is ready for Friday 29 and Saturday 30 in the concert venue in the Tamarits area (next to the Arenal Beach), which will hold up to 10,000 people coming to dance to the beat of the hottest DJs and electronic artists. he concert promoters have partnered with local businesses to run the beverage bar and food court, as well as to organize side events.
Sponsored by the record label Asere and the Ministry of Sound Club, Summaland’s line-up includes some of their top international DJ’s and up-and-coming artists. Friday’s line-up features Afrojack, the young Dutch Grammy winner who has played alongside David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas. The rest of the line-up of international artists includes Javi Mula, Like Mike, Dimitri Vegas, Paul Dieghton, Shane Kehoe and local DJ Saimon Mas. Special tour gifts will be given out all through the night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of London's most famous club.
Saturday’s varied line-up features Juan Magan, who has remixed songs by Shakira or Juanes. Rounding out the lineup are Josepo, Victor Magan and Salgado. Tickets for the Summaland are already on sale in many local shops and businesses in Javea and online at www.summaland.com and www.ticketeros.com.
